Jeff Cooperman serves as general counsel to community and condominium associations throughout the State of Florida.  While representing associations of all sizes and legal structures, Jeff has worked to develop and serve a portfolio of high-profile projects in the South Florida area including high rise towers and complex mixed-use projects.  Jeff works tirelessly to deliver a personalized service to his clients, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of care and attention.  Jeff advises clients in regards to all association matters including, without limitation, day to day operations, budgeting, elections and other meetings, document and statutory interpretation and guidance, amendment of governing documents, guidance and representation through the 558 construction defect process, loans, vendor agreements, and matters heard before the Florida Division of Condominiums and Florida courts.  Among other responsibilities, Jeff serves as part of the senior leadership of the Firm and is responsible for the training and oversight of an up-and-coming team of talented associate attorneys.
 

Before joining the Firm in 2007, Jeff Cooperman practiced as a criminal defense attorney for the Law Offices of the Public Defender for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.  Mr. Cooperman earned his undergraduate degree in International Politics from the University of Denver and received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Cooperman is a member of The American Bar Association and The Florida Bar Association.
